Datenschutz

Privacy policy (Datenschutzerklärung) for aiinthemaking.eu. As of October 2026.

1. Controller

The controller responsible for data processing on this website is:

Juan Tejeda
Winsstr. 14
10405 Berlin, Germany
Email: hello@juantejeda.com

2. Overview

This website uses two analytics tools. Cloudflare Web Analytics counts visits without cookies and stores nothing on your device. Google Analytics runs only if you accept it in the banner, and it sets cookies. The website uses no advertising tools, no contact form and no newsletter. Fonts load from this server, not from Google or any other third party.

3. Hosting

This website is hosted by STRATO AG, Otto-Ostrowski-Straße 7, 10249 Berlin, Germany. STRATO processes data on our behalf under a data processing agreement according to Art. 28 GDPR.

4. Server log files

Each time you open a page, the server stores the following in log files:

  • IP address, anonymised
  • Date and time of the request
  • Page or file requested
  • Referring page
  • Browser type and operating system

We need this data to deliver the website and to keep it secure. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is a stable and secure website. STRATO anonymises IP addresses in the log files. Log files are kept for a maximum of six weeks and then deleted.

5. Contact by email

If you email us, we process your email address and the content of your message to answer you. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR where your message relates to a contract or to taking part in the podcast, otherwise Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. We delete the data once your request is settled, unless legal retention periods apply.

6. Links to YouTube and LinkedIn

This website links to YouTube and LinkedIn. It does not embed their content. No data goes to these services until you click a link. After that, the privacy policy of the respective service applies.

7. Cloudflare Web Analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits and see which pages people read. The provider is Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94107, USA.

When a page loads, a script sends Cloudflare the page address, the referring page, the browser and device type, and the country. Cloudflare derives the country from your IP address and does not store the IP address for analytics. The tool sets no cookies, stores nothing on your device and builds no profile of you across websites.

The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is knowing how many people visit the website and which pages they read. Cloudflare is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, which covers transfers to the USA. You have the right to object at any time by emailing us, and you stop the measurement yourself by blocking scripts from static.cloudflareinsights.com in your browser.

8. Google Analytics

With your consent, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand how people find the show and use the website. The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.

Google Analytics loads only after you choose Accept in the banner. It then sets cookies (_ga and _ga_K6MLBXJCWN) that store a random ID for up to two years, so that repeat visits count as one visitor. Google processes the pages you view, how long you stay, the referring page, your browser and device type, and your approximate location, derived from your IP address. Google Analytics 4 does not store IP addresses. Data may be transferred to Google LLC in the USA, which is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. We keep the analytics data for two months.

The legal basis is your consent under Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR and § 25 (1) TDDDG. You withdraw your consent at any time: choose Privacy settings at the bottom of any page, then Reject. We then stop Google Analytics and delete its cookies on this website. Withdrawal does not affect processing before it.

9. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

  • Access the data we hold about you (Art. 15)
  • Have incorrect data corrected (Art. 16)
  • Have your data deleted (Art. 17)
  • Restrict processing (Art. 18)
  • Receive your data in a portable format (Art. 20)
  • Object to processing based on Art. 6 (1) (f) (Art. 21)

To use these rights, email hello@juantejeda.com.

You also have the right to complain to a data protection supervisory authority. For us, that is the Berliner Beauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit.
